# Cospicua Council to Open New Cat Café in Public Space

## In brief

- A new cat café is planned for Cospicua (Bormla).
- The Cospicua Local Council will manage the new community space.
- The initiative aims to provide a safe environment for cats and a unique experience for visitors.

The city of Cospicua, also known as Bormla, is set to welcome a new cat café. This initiative will see a public space transformed into a dedicated area for cats and visitors.

The Cospicua Local Council will be responsible for the management and operation of this new community project. The aim is to create a welcoming environment for both local residents and tourists.

Cat cafés offer a unique concept where people can interact with cats in a relaxed setting. Such establishments often serve as homes for rescued or stray cats, providing them with care and a chance for adoption.

Further details regarding the exact location and opening date are expected to be announced by the local council in the coming weeks.

The Lands Authority and the Bormla Local Council have officially signed an agreement for the establishment of a new cat café in the area. This development follows earlier reports about the council's plans for the community space.
