# President Joins European Heads of State at Arraiolos Summit in Slovenia

## In brief

- The President of Malta has arrived in Slovenia to participate in the annual Arraiolos Group summit.
- The informal forum brings together non-executive heads of state from across the European Union.
- Discussions focus on shared continental concerns, regional stability, and strengthening European cooperation.

The President of Malta has joined European heads of state in Slovenia to take part in this year's Arraiolos Group summit.

The Arraiolos Group serves as an informal multilateral forum bringing together non-executive presidents from across European Union member states. The annual convention allows heads of state without executive governing powers to consult on broader continental challenges and institutional developments.

This year's gathering in Slovenia focuses on key geopolitical and regional topics affecting the European community. Leaders are taking part in collaborative sessions aimed at addressing pressing cross-border issues, economic developments, and shared security concerns across Europe.

The summit also provides an opportunity for heads of state to conduct bilateral discussions on the margins of the formal agenda, strengthening diplomatic ties among participating European nations.

Such summits represent an important avenue for Malta's presidency to maintain active diplomatic engagement with counterpart heads of state across the European continent outside standard European Council structures.

The official proceedings in Slovenia will continue across the scheduled summit sessions, with participating delegations reviewing shared perspectives on the future direction of the European Union.
