A 22-year-old man was arrested yesterday in St Paul's Bay after being identified by police officers. The man was wanted in connection with a theft.

During the arrest, which took place around 10 am in Triq il-Boxxla, the police also found the suspect in possession of suspected illegal drugs.

Lovin Malta reported that the drugs found were suspected to be heroin.

The arrest was carried out by officers from the Patrol and Community Support unit.

The man is expected to face charges related to both the theft and drug possession.
