In a "final thank you" message, Prime Minister Robert Abela and his wife, Dr Lydia Abela, urged the public to vote early. Lovin Malta reported that the Prime Minister emphasised the importance of every citizen's participation, stating that "this country needs you."
Meanwhile, Newsbook reported that more than 15,000 Maltese voters will not be able to cast their ballots today. These individuals failed to collect their voting documents by the Thursday midnight deadline. This figure was obtained from political party sources, as the Electoral Commission has not yet released official numbers on uncollected documents.

As voting ended, ballot boxes, including those from Gozo, began arriving at the counting centres, preparing for the vote tabulation process.
