Power cuts have persisted across Malta, with Enemalta's live outage map indicating disruptions in 10 different areas. Localities such as St Paul’s Bay, San Ġwann, Ħamrun, and Gudja have been affected, following earlier outages in Birkirkara, Balzan, and Iklin, which Enemalta attributed to four separate cable faults.

Parents have voiced worries about the conditions in summer schools, reporting 'sweltering heat' due to the ongoing power issues. They suggest that the current power supply is not sufficient to meet the increased demand, leading to uncomfortable environments for students.

Nationalist Party leader Alex Borg also shared his personal experience, stating that his apartment in Balzan was left without electricity. He highlighted that his building lacks a generator and renewed calls for compensation for those affected by the prolonged outages. The Energy Minister and Enemalta have remained silent regarding the latest series of power cuts.
